Saturday, 4 February through Saturday, 28 April 2012 Uncrated VI: Uncrated VI includes paintings large and small from Australia’s central and western deserts, those vast reaches of sparsely populated and barren land that have generated world-renowned artists since the early 1970s. Booker-Lowe's "Uncrated" exhibitions are a gallery tradition since we opened in 2002, when our paintings (and our Australian wines) were shipped to us in wooden crates! Booker-Lowe is the leading American gallery for contemporary Aboriginal fine art from Australia. We're open Wednesday-Saturday, 11 am – 5 pm, and by appointment at your convenience. We stock hundreds of paintings and original prints from under $250 to $25,000, and can source Aboriginal artworks for those with special requirements. As seen on TV... Booker-Lowe Gallery was pleased to be included on KHOU's "Great Day Houston" hosted by Deborah Duncan on Australia Day, January 26, 2012. View the full video on KHOU's website. Coming Soon . . . A springtime show exploading with color! Our summertime "A5" (Annual Affordable Australian Aboriginal Art) Show with paintings and prints from $250-$2500. Fall exhibition with artist Karen Mills in attendance. |
